While attending Mary Baldwin University (formerly Mary Baldwin College), I was presented with the opportunity to create a set of pop-up banners for an upcoming majors fair. The philosophy department had seen some recent restructuring to its majors and the introduction of a new minor, so they needed new signage to advertise the change.
I worked closely with Mary Baldwin’s design department during this project. I gained valuable insight about the process of designing from start to finish as I edited text with the print advisor, selected photos for each banner, and sent drafts back and forth with my client.
These banners were displayed at the majors fair, an event held on campus to educate prospective students and freshmen on the available majors at the university.
